The most essential piece of our infant care program is the relationship formed between teacher and child. The connections made between the two are critical to a child’s development.
The Kinderberry Hill infant care program is thoughtfully designed to nurture and support the incredible growth that happens within an infant’s first year. Our daycare centers are located in the Twin Cities, including Minneapolis, St. Paul, Eden Prairie, Edina, Plymouth, Roseville, and Woodbury. Our Minnesota childcare centers provide a safe, cozy, and comfortable environment that feels much more like home than a classroom.

Thoughtfully selected and designed to enrich and embrace each infant’s curiosity, our early childhood curriculum provides opportunities for infants to enjoy and explore by touching, seeing, hearing, and grasping exciting new concepts.
With a teacher-child ratio of 1:4 and a maximum of 8 infants per nursery, our cozy, peaceful environment is the perfect place for teachers to get know each child and to care uniquely for each infant.

Designed to be warm, nurturing, and engaging, our infant care rooms offer a cozy environment where even the youngest learners can feel safe and curious. Our infant classrooms are filled with age-appropriate materials that encourage sensory exploration, movement, and early language development. Gentle music, soft textures, and captivating visuals create a comforting atmosphere, while carefully selected loose parts allow infants to begin exploring at their own pace.
Through attentive observation, our dedicated teachers thoughtfully plan activities that support infants’ growth and help them reach new developmental milestones. These experiences support all aspects of early childhood development—physical, social, emotional, and cognitive—helping infants build foundational skills, form secure attachments, and enjoy each moment of discovery.
The teachers are not only kind, patient, and warm, but they are incredibly knowledgeable, amazing at what they do, and — most importantly — love our baby as if he was their own family member.
Kinderberry Hill’s Nature Explore certified outdoor classrooms offer an ideal setting for child development, supporting early childhood development through hands-on exploration and discovery in nature. These outdoor spaces encourage physical activity, creativity, and cognitive growth, allowing children to engage in open-ended play and problem-solving. By incorporating nature-based experiences into the curriculum, Kinderberry Hill fosters essential skills like social interaction, curiosity, and emotional resilience.

I have complete trust and peace-of-mind that my son is safe, cared for and growing in ways that are right for him as a person. It is obvious that the leadership team and teachers at Kinderberry Hill Edina value our son and our family as people and we appreciate all they do to build relationships with us and work as a team to help our son learn and grow in so many important ways.
Each morning, we encourage you to share how your baby slept and started the day so we can keep their routine comfortable and consistent. Our teachers welcome your little one with smiles and a warm greeting, starting the day with calm and connection.
Individual care times, such as diapering, are viewed as an opportunity for connection. When teachers diaper your infant, they will take time to have conversations, make eye contact and offer gentle care.
We believe holding infants while offering their bottle is a chance to get close to them, build trust and create a sense of security. For children ready to enjoy meals in a highchair or at their first table, we gather them in a circle fashion, so community is central to this mealtime experience.
We build each child’s sleeping habits through nurture and care. This transition consists of rocking baby to a calm and create a relaxed, sleepy state. We then gently lay them in their crib and place a comforting or use a calm voice to let them know a caring adult is nearby.
At pickup, we’ll take a few minutes to chat about the fun, learning, and adventures. As you pick up, take a moment to observe and discover the activities and experiences that spark curiosity and learning. We’ll say goodbye for the day with snuggles, waves, or high fives.
Your infant will alternate between exploring on their own and playing with close by caregivers and friends. Our engaging nursery environments are intentionally designed for your baby to feel secure and connected while they explore rich provocations and sensory experiences. Each experience is designed to help scaffold development at all levels during their first year.
Family events and gatherings are offered at our schools for both you and your baby. These are opportunities for our community to connect, celebrate and learn together.
Our playrooms are designed for an infant to explore and develop their motor skills in a safe and enriched environment. Soft rugs and mats are used to cushion falls and a large variety of movement toys are available for all ages and stages of infant development.
When your baby reaches 6 months or older, they will enjoy buggy rides throughout the neighborhood. They will also have opportunities to spend time in our infant and toddler play areas outdoors.
