I’ve worked in early childhood education for nearly twenty years, and I’m grateful to have spent fifteen of those years with Kinderberry Hill. I began teaching at our Plymouth school before joining Kinderberry Hill Minneapolis in 2012. Over the years, I’ve had the joy of teaching in every age group, including infants, toddlers, intermediates, and pre-K. This has given me a deep appreciation for each stage of early learning and helped prepare me to step into the role of operations coordinator in 2023.

I’m passionate about the work we do in our school. Watching the meaningful impact our teachers make on the children in our care is truly inspiring. Kinderberry Hill is the only place I’ve worked where I can genuinely feel that teachers want to be here. They care deeply, put children first, and give so much of themselves to their work.

One of the most rewarding parts of my role is making a positive impact on the lives of the children, families, and staff in our school. It’s important to me that everyone who walks through our doors feels welcomed, heard, and safe.

Our Minneapolis location offers unique opportunities right outside our front door. We enjoy literacy-rich experiences with regular library visits, strolls through the skyways with our youngest learners to explore the sights and sounds of the city, and visits from community guests who share their talents and stories with us. These experiences bring learning to life in meaningful, memorable ways.
